My daughters have many that are macrame, something I have yet to learn, but crocheting them will do for now. I thought I would share this with you all so you can experience this DIY project and make your own.

So, for this pattern, you will need these;
Bernat Handicrafter Cotton 14 oz. (674 yards)

1/2 inch dowel-14 inches long

Special Stitches:
Popcorn (right side rows): Make 4 dc in the next st, drop the loop from your hook, insert the hook from the front of the first dc made, and insert the hook into the dropped dc, y/o a pull-through.

Repeat this process. Rows 1-5 2 more times at each dc area.
For the fringe:
I cut strips of cotton measuring 24 inches. I wanted a semi-long fringe. Below is a link on how to add the fringe or tassels.
You can either chain the desired length and glue it to the back of the dowel for hanging, or I can use a white shoestring, cut it to where I want it to hang, and hot glue it to the back.
